MY APPROACH

I am a compassionate, direct, and down to earth therapist who understands the challenges of living from a place of pain.

We’ve all been there…

As a therapist, I help you to heal from difficult or traumatic experiences that continue to cause problems, or stuck patterns of thinking and behavior.

My therapy approach focuses on moving through heavy, longstanding, and overwhelming emotions such as anxiety, depression, and anger.

Allowing yourself to feel and explore the most difficult emotions can help to take back the power they have over you.

Meeting your feelings with self-compassion and curiosity creates space for healing and change.

I will meet you where you are, and we will move at your pace. Together, we will figure out your pathway forward.

My Background

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Mental Health Therapist) I received my LCSW from the University of Michigan in 2008, specializing in Human Development, and Attachment Psychology.

New to the mountain west from Washington DC. I’ve lived all over the US and Europe and spent the last 15 years in the DC area building my career and private practice.

I use my 20 years of experience and training in multiple therapeutic models (Emotion Focused Therapy, Attachment Theory, Psychodynamic Therapy, EMDR, and Group Therapy) to be able to meet each client where you are, and create a pathway forward using therapy tools that fit your individual needs.
